Ireland Visa Requirements for Indians

Many people from around the world want to visit Ireland for various purposes. The country also attracts a lot of business people. Indians who wish to visit France for tourism or trade purposes can easily avail a Ireland Visa online in India. India is one of the many countries for which Ireland Visa is available.

Ireland Visa required Documents for Indians Tourist / Friend/Family Visa :-

  • Original passport with 6-months validity after the date you plan to leave Ireland. Old passport.
  • 2 Visa Photos 35 X 45mm, white background, matt finish 80% face size.
  • Covering letter from applicant mentioning
  • The reason you want to come to Ireland
  • The dates you plan to arrive and leave
  • The place(s) you will stay, for example home address of your friend/family, hotel, hostel, B&B, etc A description of who will pay (or help to pay) for your vacation, for example you, friend/family.

Letter must also include a commitment from you that you will :

Obey the conditions of your visa in full Not rely on public services (for example public hospitals) or become a burden on the State Leave Ireland before your immigration permission expires.

  • Accommodation proof while in Ireland: Hotels, guesthouses, hostels, B&Bs, AirBnBs, campsites, etc.
  • Evidence of medical or travel insurance.
  • Personal Bank statements for last 6 months updated with bank seal & sign on each and every page. Along with Bank letter on letterhead.
  • If Self Employed: Company registration proof/ Shop Act/ Partnership deed/MOA.
  • If Employed: Salary slips for last 3-months + Leave approval letter + Salary account statements for last 3 months showing salary credited.
  • If Freelancer: Contract copy / Invoices / Visiting Card.
  • If Agriculturist: 7/12 translated in English
  • If Student: School/College ID Card / Bonafide Letter + Leave approval
  • If Retired: Retirement proof / Pension Order/Pension Slips Travel Insurance.

Documents from Ireland Friend / Family

  • Passport copy
  • Irish Resident Permit if not Irish Citizen.
  • Invitation letter from Ireland mentioning: The reason they are inviting you to Ireland. The dates they plan to see you in Ireland. A description of how they know you.
  • The letter must also include a statement by your friend(s) or family member(s) that they understand you must:
  • Obey the conditions of your visa in full
  • Not rely on public services (for example public hospitals) or become a burden on the State
  • Leave Ireland before your immigration permission expires.
  • Proof of recent income if sponsoring: (3 last salary slip + Bank statements 3 months, last income tax assessment paper
  • .
  • Relationship proof documents: for example copies of letters, emails, photographs together, birth certificates and marriage certificates etc.) For Minors aged 18 and under:
  • If you are applying for a child travelling with both parents or legal guardians, include: Original Birth Certificate with their application documents.

For a young person travelling with one parent or legal guardian only, include

  • An original letter of consent signed by the minor’s other parent/legal guardian
  • A photocopy of the other parent/legal guardian’s passport or national identity card that clearly shows their signature
  • If you applying for more than one minor person include a separate original letter and photocopy of the parent’s passport/identity card with each young person’s application.

For a Minor travelling with an adult who is not their parent or legal guardian, include

  • An original letter of consent signed by both of the young person’s parents/legal guardians
  • A parental letter of consent is needed even if the young person is travelling with an older family member, for example – , a brother or sister aged over 18
  • A photocopy of each parent/legal guardian’s passport or national identity card that clearly shows their signature
  • If you are applying for more than one young person, include a separate original letter and photocopy of each parent’s passport/identity card with each young person’s application.

For a young person travelling alone (i.e., without a parent or any other adult), include

  • An original letter of consent signed by both of the young person’s parents/legal guardians
  • A photocopy of each parent/legal guardian’s passport or national identity card that clearly shows their
  • If you are applying for more than one young person, include a separate original letter and photocopy of each parent’s passport/identity card with each young person’s application.
