Canada Visa Requirements for Indians

Many people from around the world want to visit Canada for various purposes. The country also attracts a lot of business people. Indians who wish to visit Canada for tourism or trade purposes can easily avail a Canada Visa online in India. India is one of the many countries for which Canada Visa is available.

Canada Visa required Documents for Indians Tourist / Friend/Family Visa :-

  • Original passport with 6-months validity from date of Arrival. Old passports.
  • 1 recent visa Photos.
  • Covering letter mentioning details of application, purpose of visit, travel details, who will bear expenses, and profession details. (If self-employed require on company letterhead).
  • Hotel Bookings – if any Day to Day Itinerary
  • If Self Employed: Company registration proof/ Shop Act/ Partnership deed/MOA.
  • If Freelancer: Contract copy / Invoices / Visiting Card.
  • If Agriculturist: 7/12 translated in English
  • If Student: School/College ID Card / Bonafide Letter + Leave approval
  • If Retired: Retirement proof / Pension Order/Pension Slips Adhaar Card copy
  • Marriage Certificate copy if Couples applying together.
  • Birth Certificate copy if applicant aged 18 or below.
  • If any financial documents like FD, Shares, Mutual Funds, PPF etc

Documents from Family / Friend :

  • Passport copy
  • Valid Resident visa if not a Canadian Citizen.
  • Invitation letter
  • Address proof of stay while in Canada
  • Relationship Proof documents with Inviting person.
  • If Sponsoring: Proof of recent income : 3 last salary slip + Bank statements for 3 months + last income tax assessment paper.

Canada Business Visa

To qualify as a business visitor to Canada, you must show that:

  • you plan to stay for less than 6 months
  • you don’t plan to enter the Canadian labour market
  • your main place of business and source of income and profits is outside Canada
  • you have documents that support your application
  • you meet Canada’s basic entry requirements, because you
  • have a valid travel document, such as a passport
  • have enough money for your stay and to return home
  • plan to leave Canada at the end of your visit
  • are not a criminal, security or health risk to Canadians

Note: If you plan to stay for more than 6 months, or plan to work in Canada, you may be considered a temporary worker and have to apply for a work permit
